Williamsburg Art & Historical Center - 25th Annual Salon Show Hello Friends! I'm excited to announce that two of my artworks will be included as part of the 25th Annual Salon Show at the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center. The show will be up from February 3rd - March 9th 2024. The opening reception will be on Saturday, February 3rd from 3 - 5 PM. Gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5 PM . Greenpoint Open Studios is back in 2023  Join us June 10th and 11th from 12-6 PM as Greenpoint artists open their studio doors to the world for a visit! I'll be at my studio on Porter Avenue. Check out this interactive map to see all the artists participating!   Hi friends! After a bit of a pandemic-induced hiatus, I'm so excited to announce that some of my artworks will be included in an in-person exhibit happening this Sunday, July 25th in Long Island City at LIC Bar from 12 - 4 pm. Six of my artworks from a new series, Excelsior, will be on display and available for purchase. This series of artworks was produced in NYC in the middle of the COVID-19 lockdown. In the midst of so much uncertainty and darkness, I found inspiration in the brightly lit windows of New York City - little stars of hope in the darkness. Employing watercolor, ink, and acrylic paint, I channeled my anxiety into meditative mark-making, reflecting on hope and life rather than despair. The exhibition, New York Isn't Dead will be featuring artworks from local artists celebrating the city that we love. There will also be NYC inspired-merchandise available for sale. A portion of the proceeds will go to supporting NYC COVID recovery as well as mental health programs. I'm so excited and grateful to be a part of this exhibition! Thank you! This is just to say that some of my photographic works (light paintings) are going to be included in a two-person show organized and curated by Standard Arts. The Lights We See will be at The Yard Flatiron North and will feature works by Aranka Israni and myself! Opening this Thursday, August 15th, 2019 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Follow this link to RSVP! Hello friends! I'm so happy to announce that I will once again be participating in the Sing For Hope Pianos project this year. My design for the piano is based on Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, and it will feature colorful abstractions that represents the different thematic elements of the music. I have already begun the underpainting! Please stay tuned for more information and updates!  These are some photos from the dedication of my piano at the Mary McLeod Bethune Academy in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. I'm so happy that it will live with these brilliant students!
