This series of artworks began in NYC in the middle of the COVID-19 lockdown. In the midst of so much uncertainty and darkness, I found inspiration in the brightly lit windows of New York City - little stars of hope in the darkness. Employing watercolor, ink, and acrylic paint, I channeled my anxiety into meditative mark-making, reflecting on hope and life rather than despair.
